Welcome to The Men of PATHFINDERS. 

As a man in our culture you have probably found that there are certain expectations that come with the territory.  Some of these expectations are imposed upon us and others, we impose on ourselves.  Men often feel very isolated and alone and find that they don’t have male friendships that allow them to share from the heart and talk about the good, the bad and the ugly.

Pathfinders’ is a growing group of men who each have a story to tell.  We are men who share openly and honestly in groups as a way of getting and giving support to one another.

Below is a list of some of the benefits that men find when they take the opportunity to gather.

1.      A sense of belonging to and feeling accepted by a group of men that really care about    one another.

2.      Stimulating communication with men who are willing to be honest with themselves and each other.

3.      The opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a man in the 21st Century when many of the traditional values and views of being a man aren’t working.

4.      Learning to pay more attention to how you personally “think and feel” regarding what’s right for you vs. what others think is right for you.

5.      A place where you can feel safe to express yourself honestly and try out new ways of relating to others.

6.      A place where you can create new visions and directions for your life.

7.      An opportunity to change patterns in your life that aren’t working.

8.      A chance to learn how you come across to other men.

9.      An opportunity to develop close, supportive friendships with other men.
       
10.  Learning to have fun spending time with male friends.
